Here at the Wing Chun Kung Fu Institute(WCKFI) we learn, study, teach, and practice the southern Shaolin kung fu system of Ving Tsun (pronounced Wing Chun). We teach Ving Tsun as it was passed to Grandmaster Ip Ching from his father Ip Man, who was the teacher of world famous movie star Bruce Lee. Master Heimberger is a personal disciple of Grandmaster Ip Ching, and Matthew Shannon is a personal student of Master Heimberger.
Ving Tsun is a complete martial art system. We employ dynamic, percussive movements such as punching and kicking to trapping and grappling. Since Ving Tsun is a complete art it will serve the practitioner anytime, anywhere. Whether it be on the street facing multiple opponents and/or weapons the skills of Ving Tsun have you covered.
